Only 1,000 of these bear brick coco changes were made, and most were especially displayed inside Chanel boutiques. Only a handful have ever surfaced on the market.

One model was exclusively sold at a charity auction, along with other Bearbricks made by luxury brands like Salvatore Ferragamo, Moschino, and Hermes.

The piece is modelled to resemble Chanel’s founder Coco Chanel, dressed in her classic outfit: a Chanel jacket and pearls. Considering its rarity and high-fashion connection, the piece isn’t easy to get your hands on.

Bearbricks are a type of toy that can be collected. Blocky arms and legs and a typical bear head serve as a blueprint for these bears. Medicom Toy, based in Tokyo, designed and manufactured Bearbricks.

The majority are made of plastic, but as the company and its partnerships have grown, other materials such as wood and metal have been included. Bearbricks are available in sizes ranging from 50% (smallest) to 1000 per cent (biggest) (largest).
